St. Helens Update

It seems that Mt. St. Helens is on the verge of eruption. Scientists have increased it to a Level 3 alert. So far, no Scientists have correlated this event to the recent termors which have been felt through California in recent weeks. However, Geography 101 will teach you that they lay on the same plate, hence causing some speculation that this could be a small event linking to a possibily more devastating threat: a pacific 'ring of fire'. Lets hope the increased thermal activity in the Yellowstone caldera isn't part of this, otherwise the whole Pacific northwest, theoretically could be diminished in a single blow.
